As things are want to do today.... things did not go well.

It came time for me to re-install my Lower Intake Manifold and I had the torque wrench set... but apparently it wasn't calibrated and one of the bolts snapped mid-thread.

I managed to get the bolt out of the engine block but I am left one bolt short.

A. Does anyone have spares laying around that they feel like donating (Minus shipping costs)?

or

B. Know where besides a junkyard I can find them (preferably online and preferably not for a Rape price)? I found them a few places but they want $3 for the bolt and $10 for shipping, which is retarded.

I believe it is a M8-1.25x95mm Flange Head bolt.

eBay and amazon are a wash. eBay has them but only if you buy the whole manifold.

Found a site that has them but wants $10 shipping. And another site that has titanium ones for $18 a piece.

Someone on another thread went through this about a month ago. They ended up ordering them from the dealership... they found them on the west coast, I think. I checked a few online sources, and it's an easy bolt to find, except they usually are not flanged, or the thread length is slightly different.

Called a different dealership, can order them for $6 plus shipping per bolt. So $12 for one bolt.

Wow.

If you have a Sears Hardware (NOT the standard Sears store) near you, give them a try. The one by me has a huge selection of "odd" fasteners and hardware, including "flanged" bolts that are otherwise difficult to find. You can also look for a Fastenal store, or try an industrial supply store.

Called fastenal. Longest they go is 80mm.

Sears hardware is also a nogo. Too far and even if they had it, would cost less to order from dealership versus the gas to drive to sears. Thanks for the idea though.
