I want to lift my rear end so that it is higher than the front end. I dont have add-a-leafs on it because they wont add the amount of lift that I am looking for. I could put the stock shackles back on and do a SOA but I dont know how I would mount the shocks. I have heard of the OME two inch springs but I cant find anyone who carries them. Would I be able to use add-a-leafs with the OME springs? Do Ranger springs have more arch?

Any ideas would be appreciated.

OME-36 springs will give you 2" or so.. Add WAR-153 shackles and get another 1.5" or so..

don't put add-a-leaves on the OME springs.. they ride so much better as they are.. adding the add-a-leaf would ruin the ride..

Any place that is an ARB dealer should be able to get you the OME-36 springs as they are distributed by ARBUSA

I will tell you from recent (like last week) experience that having a lot of rear end height difference will cause you to dive into turns and it takes a bit of getting used to.

One question, why on earth do you want the rear to be higher than the front? The one day I had my rear end higher was more than long enough. It felt very strange and uncomfortable. Mine was only 1.5" higher in the rear than the front also. I put my shackles on one night and was going to wait until the weekend to adjust the torsion bars. One day of driving it that way convinced me to bring the front up when I got home from work.

I didn't realize that raising the rear higher than the front would make that much of a difference on a vehicle that already feels like it could turn over at any time. I was only looking for it to 1 to 1.5 inches taller in the rear. I just think it would look good. It would make the whole truck appear to be higher.

A friend of mine has a Tahoe with a 2 inch TT and 3 inch blocks in the rear. It looks better that way to me.

my explorer sits a little "rocked" forward. The rear is about 1" higher than the front. You can kind of tell in this picture.

Is that picture before or after your body lift. Why is it higher in the rear. How much of a TT did you do? I want that look, just higher overall.

hehe :)

Yeah, that is with everything listed in my sig. The tires are 32's and you can see that my rocker panels are higher than the centercaps on the rims, so they are about 21" off of the ground.

It is higher in the rear because I have the add-a-leaf which added about 3/4"to1" and the shackles that adds ?? about 1.25" I would guess. I turned up my torsion bars as far as they would go (and still keep it level) but I only got around 1.25" after is settled out. I didn't think it was high enough, so I did the 2" BL. If you want to go higher, would suggest doing the 3" BL. You shouls be able to clear 33's easily that way.

I have 33's right now. I have shackles and my front is about 1 to 1.5 inches taller than the rear. Add-a-leafs would bring it up level, but I want it higher than level.
I got about 2.5 inches out of the TT. I still have some downtravel and my CV joints aren't close to binding.

Hey justin are you only running the TT and shackles with the 285's? How much do they rub? I'm interested in doing the same thing.
