need quick answer about tire PSI

I have BF Goodrich 31X10.5X15 All Terrain tires, it says (50 PSI max) cold. Is that right? 50 psi sounds like alot to me.

that is the MAX you should put in them most people run between 32- 36 psi for everyday driving

on my sunvisor where thhey put airbag stickers, there's a revised air pressure reccomendation of 30 psi, likely as a result of the firestone debacle. i run at that. what would you guys say is the best pressure for gas mileage?

50 would be the best for gas mileage, but your tire wear, handling, and safety would suck

Best is to do the chalk test and run the tires at whatever pressure you get an even contact patch.

i would have done it if i didn't find slightly used tires already...but i did think of it.
