what PSI?

What PSI should I set my 32" tires at on my 94 explorer.
On my tires it says that the max pressure is 50 PSI, but i heard that your suppose to set it at the stock PSI of the car because its the same weight load, which it says on my door 26 PSI, or something like that. I'm not sure. Can someone help me out. Thanks.

Probably something like 32-35 psi is best for the pavement.

mine are at 35 PSI and same for off-road.

Also are the fronts suppose to be a little bit less, about 10 PSI lower? thats just what i heard.

Maybe 2-3 psi lower, but with oversized tires just run them all the same.

We run BFG AT-KO 32x11.50 on 15x8 rims..

I have found 32psi up front.. and 36psi on the rear....

Do a search on the "chalk test" and you will find the instructions on how to figure out the correct pressure..

The pressure we use may not be exactly right for you.. as we have a false floor in the back of our X full of tools....

BTW.. we get 40-50k out of a set of tires.. (we would get more, but I drive/slide on dirt roads every day going to or from the house and we have a rear locker that is hard on rear tires)..

I have 35 psi for on and off road.

I have 33x12.5 on 15x10 rims and run 20psi in front, 18psi in back all the time. Off-road I will go down to as low as 10psi.
