Need some help on this guys

Hey guy's I have a chance to get a 92 4x4 explorer. it needs a good bit of work. Needs trans suprise there lol. But all the other stuff is minor I have redone most of my 92 2wd and love the truck. I guess just trying to figure how much money would be to much to put into it?

I assume the X you are looking at is an auto so if you end up replacing the transmission you will already have more in it than you could probably sell it for. What it boils down to is what it's worth to you.

Thanks, surf. I think I am going to pick it up and redo it I think it is worth it the more I look on craigslist the more I think if I redo it i know what I have in it.
