Hi all !!!
You all were such a help with my Explorer and the wipers (which by the way thanks to all of you the 'ghost' wipers are no-more) and such I thought I would ask for some help again, please.
When my father passed away, he left me his 1988 Ford Ranger XLT. My son owned it for a bit years ago but he bought another truck and my father took it back. I want to slowly fix it up and then give it back to my son as a surprise. He and his grandfather were very close.
It needs a lot of work so I am starting small. Real small. The window lift handles on the inside are broken off so we can't crank the windows up and down. I have been all over the internet looking for handles that will fit it. 2 days worth of searching and I have found nothing.
So today I went to two junk yards and still didn't find anything. Now you guys know me. I don't give up easily. And even for a woman there isn't much I can't do with a car. So how come such a little item is causing me such a headache?
I figure if I can get the interior done, then I can start on the exterior. But if it is all going to go like these stupid handles...well then it might take awhile.
So ... does anyone know of somewhere on the internet I can get these handles? I checked Advance auto and such too. I couldn't even find universal handles. They are the crank handles not automatic. And sporty would be great by me !!!
