I posted this in the audio forum to no avail !! I need to order this head unit online ASAP !! Any feedback appreciated

I was thinking about purchasing the Eclipse AVN 5495 for the 06 Explorer http://www.eclipse-web.com/5495index.html
According to the "Will This Fit My Car" thing they use on Crutchfield, it say's it will not. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-sPJn6N...50&I=099AVN5495 It does however say that it will fit the 05 (are they the same size stock head units??)
Can anyone confirm this for me ??? Or is it just saying that because it's a double din setup?? From looking at dash pictures on the net of the 06 it looks like a "double sized dash opening" to me???
I won't be picking up my truck until May so I can't research that stuff from over here in Italy until I get back home and have a few short days until I make my drive from WA to NY.
Anyone have a similar set-up?? Any and all help greatly appreciated !!
The specs on the 5495 are as follows.
(WxHxD) 7" x 4" x 6-1/2" or 180 x 100 x 165 mm ----
Weight = 7.9lbs
