I have a 94 explorer eddie bauer edition and my front passenger wheel is tilted in and a wheel alignment did not fix it. i was told it may be my tie rods but im not sure. anyone know how much that may cost? another problem is that the driver door lock wont turn. i can put my key in but not turn the key. i dont know if it may be frozen due to the low temperatures we have been having or what. if anyone has had this problem or knows what it is please tell me

Welcome To The Forum! Try to get some chain lube with a straw and stick in the key hole and spray.

a tierod wont cause the tire to tilt in it would be a ball joint. if you just had a aligment done the shop should have caught that it was bad.
as for the door lock stuck many of us have the same problem an dont seem to have a fix for it.

alright thanks ill try that lube and spray. ill probably just end up going to my mechanic and seeing if he will be able to fix the ball joints.

As mentioned above, if the wheel is tilted out at the bottom (not side to side) it's most likely a ball joint, not a tie-rod end.

For your door lock, if it's frozen you can buy door lock de-icer at almost any parts store. Comes in a small container with a squirt nozzle that goes into the lock mechanism. Spray it in, wait a couple seconds and it melts the ice.

Not sure who you had do the alignment but if you can see it tilted that bad you have a major Camber problem. I'd be asking for my money back. Ball joint would be the first check and then depending on severity you might even need to have the structure of the vehicle checked (frame damage). I've seen Explorers with severe camber concerns and an alignment did fix them but eccentrics (shims that fit over the top of the balljoint) in the f/e can only correct so much.
