Here are some dimensions I need. Based on say a first gen explorer or a 4.0 ranger with the mazda tranny.

Whats the diamiter of the clutch?
Whats the spline count of the clutch??
Whats the diamiter of the splined part of trans input shaft where the cluch rides?
Whats the diamator of the pilot bearing? (both inter and outer)
Whats the diamator of the flywheel?

Thanks for any info you have

judging from this it looks like it is 10" clutch 23 spline 1" shaft. Does that sound right to anyone else.

Hey Matt, rangerX is doing a clutch on his truck RIGHT NOW.

hehe. I'll go look at the old parts in a few minutes. :D

Okay, 10" clutch, 23 spline, 1", and pilot bearing outer looks to be 9/16", but I'm only measuring off the alighnment tool. :D

Why, what are you doing???

Now that is service!!!

transmission mix matching it sounds like.
I think 10" is the same as the Mustang clutch.......
