Hey guys,

I got some interior neons in the mail, and I mounted the 12 inch tube under the seat. The only problem is to power them they have to go into the cigarette lighter. I was hoping to wire them into something else and install a switch I could use to kill them or cut them on.

Anybody have any ideas on what I can wire them into for power?

Thanks,
Josh

I did.

Please reply if you're not a moron.

ehh man chill...

if you wanna run a switch, run one wire (from your swithch) to your fuse box that turns on when your car turns on and turns off when your car turns off.. ie power windows...

run the other wire from the neon to the other wire on the switch. make sure its not the ground wire

run the ground wire from the neon to the... well ground...

and you got a switch for your neon

Not sure if you got the neon working yet.. but it's pretty easy. Get a 3-prong switch (ground, 12v, accessory), and wire the 12v prong to a 12v in your car, preferrably cigarette lighter, ground it somewhere, and hook your neon to the accessory wire, ground that somewhere too. Use a fuse! I learned the hard way. Good luck!
