Hey everyone1 I have been lurking around since I got my first Explorer.. It was a 1997 with 365K miles on her... She ran like a champ, but the Emissions pissed me off so decided lay that one to rest and give Explorer another chance and purchased a 1995 Explorer with a blown transmission... Well, I am glad I did.. My 97 had a rebuilt transmission in it and I pulled the transmission out of that.. I swapped the valvebody and Va la the 95 runs AWESOME!!!!
I figured I for the price of $300 I got a very dependable truck and I read all about the swap over from the members of this great forum...
Thank You for ya all help, now I have a great truck and a boat load of replacement parts from my donor car...
