Could you get some pictures of the front bumper, and how it's mounted behind the stock bumper? Thanks, i'm trying to do something similar with my stock bumper.

...Other than that minor crack, the rest of it looks good...:D

T-case seems to me ok and so does everything else. However you can see signs were the rear driveshaft and t-case made contact with the body. and the front drive shaft made contact with the frame enough to bend part of the frame up. I don't it bad enough to worry about though.

I think it was flown awile back and the trans was cracked for time, the resent jump was the las straw though.:( I only say that because the contact point from the drivetrain look like they have been there awhile

DING

This is your Captain speaking:

We will be landing shortly---if you look to your right you will see a nice trail of Trans fluid--If you look to your left you will notice some spare parts scattering across the ground--Not to worry folks--we have a great copilot who has an awesome set of TV repair tools--Hope you have enjoyed your flight--Thank you for flying AIR FORD.

:)

I just learned this recently that jumping in 4wd is rather tough because one set of tires hits first, then the second set and it will shock the drivetrain and transfer case or tail of the transmission will take the blow. Will I stop jumping?......Nope. And I've been too busy with other parts falling off on landing.

guess you just better make sure your in 2wd then

sorry no pic but the stock bumper on that truck is cut under the plastic trim/Impact strip and the tube bumper is then bolted to the chassis under it.

new trans in t-case in just need to plug in all the little things and waiting for new muffler(it didn't have on!) Should be back on the road real soon. Can't wait!

Nice find you have there. I can't wait till I can afford another 4x4. I am getting tired of all the low vehicles I have been driving. Tooooo much head aches with the truck headlights in my rear view.:thumbdwn::rolleyes:

Zukman and Stic-o,

This is what i found out about black rock wheels. There are pretty cost effective. For 19x9 with a 3-4" backspacing it is going to cost about 85 bucks per wheel. I had a hard time finding a vendor that would contact them about custom wheels. I tried to get them from Quadratec and they told me that Black Rock did not and will not do custom wheels. :thumbdwn:

However roco4x4 got me the hook up. They answered there phone late into the night....(turns out there is a nice difference in time between me and them) and got me the info and called back the next day.

Just wanted to give you the heads up on them

you mean 17x9 right... Who even make 19's? I would told quad.."that's not what there website says":p:

Poly performance and summit can get them I think. We're not at that point yeat though. I wish you go straight through blackrock:rolleyes: There place is right out by my old work.

Whoops yes i mean 17x9..... Crazy

I tried to get them from black rock.....that was a no go lol

update
exhaust system done new muffler installed, tranny now has fluid just need to connect the linkage and off we go!

Well it moves under it's own power now and no need (for the most part) to dive under it to shift gears :D

well here we are a couple of months from when we got her, finding time to work on her is the hard part. We got her all ready to run, moved an ocean of vehicles, and took her for a spin. Made it to the corner. What the heck is that noise??? Sounds like someone put playing cards in the bicycle spokes! Zukman exits the vehicle while Zukmam mans the helm. Chalk up another ouchie to the kid! Blew out a hub! So back to the garage and wait to find a hub.

Thanks to a member and friend we found the hubs just have to get them here.

In between she now has KC driving lights mounted on the front bumper. She has had an undercarriage bath and is a little cleaner.
