Just ordered my new gears after a whole year of running 3.55 w/ 33's which really sucked. Went to accu auto parts. They were super helpful in selection (got Precision Gears) and all cust service questions. Got 4.10's front and rear w/ master install kits. All said & done was $558.17 INCLUDING shipping. I'm a very happy man now. Can't wait till they come and I get them installed!! I think I'm off to the Aussie Locer site to get at least a front locker!

Ordered the front Aussie Locker. Maybe a ARB for the rear some day...

good idea in the aspect of being in the front diff ONCE and not twice. The rear locker can wait - easy access

Yeah to BOTH points. The front locker has to be done while this thing is apart. The rear can wait till I can afford a selectable locker.

I will be kicking my own ass after these gears are in. I can't wait to have some acceleration, and mileage back! The engine was done, the Bama tune was done, but it's just such a dog. I'm so excited!

are 4.10s really going to do much for the 33s? im running 4.10s on my toyota with a 4cyl with 31s and it still isnt that great

some explroers had 4.10s and 31s stock

you know i do have a front and rear axle ALREADY regeared to 4.56's for sale ;)

thanx for the offer. 4.56's seem to low for me right now. I don't plan on going more than 33's and want to keep it streetable for now. If you're gonna tell me they're both locked, and will be less then the money I just spent on parts, I'll be upset, but it's too late. Most of the stuff's already shipped.

All My Stuff came in already!!

The locker came in yesterday (ONE DAY!!), gears today. I guess this'll be done sooner than I thought...

If any one has any detailed install instructions for the front D35 IFS please point me in that direction!! I can only find TTB installs.

Oh, and if this hasn't been stated already the D35 gears are 37 and 9 teeth (4.1111111 ratio) the 8.8 gears are 41 and 10 teeth (4.10 ratio). So I guess they work just fine together.

My stock 3.55's and tires work out mathematically to 4.10s w/ 33's. Actually I think it's like 4.03, but yeah. I haven't been on stock tires for ever. 31's were fine for me w/ the 3.55's. I think I'll be happy. It's a daily driver, and I can always get an Atlas II w/ the really low gears!! I can dream, can't I?

Wanna sell the stockk 3.55's? Need em for a mustang. Let me know!
