New guy on the fence

I haven't gotten one yet, been looking for the right one. I kinda wanted Sport but don't need majority of the stuff that it comes with. Been looking for the 16 and up 3.5 FPIUs with facelift and other features like rear hvac and seen a few that looked like they were but weren't. The center consoles had rear but there wasn't any rear controls in the front. I'm willing to settle a bit if I have to replace some seats or add a console. That being said, how hard is it to have captains chairs and rear console in the back of a utility?

I'm slowly giving up search for a bit till it gets close to the winter time when my lease is going to be up on my current car. My other car not listed is a 2005 Legacy GT in pieces (like most of them are) and plan on letting it go soon. Been dragging my feet on that as part outs for those can run you 3 years. The major thing with that is sending the heads off then restart assembly but I lost contact with all my Subaru guys and work soo much. Either way you guys aren't here for my sob story, I'm here to try and learn what my best options are and slight mods to make whatever I get what I want it to be.

I’d have swapped a 2.2 in place of that 2.5 and ran it until the wheels fell off.

It’s to the point I’m afraid of something else breaking when it runs. I had safe goals but not sure I want to spend any more. I really need a truck at this point. I’ve managed to get the LGT stuck many times in NJ,MD, PA, and Ohio snow. I toyed around with the idea of getting outback sedan suspension but not liking that year round.
