fitment is alright on the intake, but its a small space so you can't complain .. made a noticable difference too..

Looks real good. It's kind of amazing how nice those intakes make your engine look sometimes. What kind of performance? Just a better throttle response or what?

-Drew

thanks.. definitly better throttle respond, and more power.. sounds good too

Pretty :D I didn't notice much difference in performance, but they definitely sounds cool. :D

ya definitly

It's amazing how much it makes the engine by look better. Looks good

Looks good. Is that a MAC? And what engine do you have? Just curious, it looks different under the hood than mine.

Looks like a OHV too me. Very nice intake it does make the engine bay light up! all that nasty black + dirty and than BLAM! CHROME! hehehe time to get an chrome engine dress up kit also i need one thats for sure :D

Oh ok. I have not seen the OHV, so I was not sure. :D Where did you find the blue vacuum hose to match it? Thats pretty cool.

thanks.. ya it's the OHV.. the blue tube came with the kit

Hey! Did you get this off e-bay? I was looking through ebay and I saw ones similar to yours (just for the SOHC):

I wonder if Explor Express' MAFS will still work with that system?

Only reason I was thinking of getting their MAC intake was so later down the road if I wanted their MAFS, I could get it.

Explorer Express and/or MAC do NOT make MAFs. Look carefully at that photo. The MAF is made by "Pro-M", manufactured bt "Pro-Flow". They've been out of business for several months.

EE is notorious for not changing their website. Many of the items in their catalog have not been available for sale for some time.

Oxygen, Looks like you sanatized the engine compartment! Makes it look so clean and so sharp looking. What ever you spent sure seems worth it.

I am building an intake for my Ex too, from a MX-6 intake my buddy had, whats it take to get the stock airbox out? looked at it really quick, gave it a tug and nothing happened. Havent put time in it yet, so just curious, didnt want to break anything...

Just have to yank really hard. If it still doesn't feel like it wants to move, pull harder. I found it easier to pull from the side first to remove the rubber grommets on the side of it. This makes it much easier to pull out the grommets from the bottom.

thats what I thought, but I didnt want to yank and then see some bolts.

Is there any additional mounting for the 'long' pipe.
Just looks like it really hangs out there for a long distance
