I just did the superlift on my 95 x and that gives me: 4" superlift(front) with tt's cranked, soa with shackles. im sitting pretty high and im lovin it. The rear is sitting a little higher than the front and im thinknig of taking the shackles off to even it out. But i have a vibration at low speeds with my rear driveshaft and im not sure what it is. There are no drive line shops in my town and im pretty much stuck without advice untill i can get the time to go out of town to a shop. The vibration is only at low speeds and all the gears shift fine. im just alittle unsure of what to do to fix it. i dont have the money to buy another shaft and the angle dosent look to be too sevre so im at a loss. Any ideas???

shake the driveshaft and see if if it clunks at the slipyoke to see if its extended too much. Is your pinion angle inline with the driveshaft?

I'd lean towards the pinion angle too assuming you've kept the same driveshaft from before.

Did you do the SOA yourself? DId you use an angle finder?

One thing I'd like to point out is the driveshaft length -- cauz on my vehicle, when I did the SOA with an AAL and the WAR153 shackles, the driveshaft was too short and had to be extended. Cost for having a driveshaft "re-tubed" typically runs between $120 and $150.

you just lifted the truck 5" and want it to ride like a caddilac?

Mine damn near does :p

Im not looking for it to ride like a caddy but i dont think the vibration is normal! i didnt do the welding on the SOA only the labor after so im not sure about the angle, but they seem to match each other lol...ill go out and shake it in a few and come back with a response

ok definitely now popping of anysort, no movment at all for that matter with the shaft....is this gonig to be a problem driving the next few days till i can go to a shop and ask someone??

my guess is your pinion angle is probibly too high. Other than vibration you arn't really damaging anything

Um did you get it aligned professionally after the lift and t bar crank?

i jsut did the lift last night and had to work today.....i have been anywhere to do anything. Oh and on a good note...it only took 8 hrs to the the superlift and SOA...
