New member getting started

Hello everyone this is the first time I've ever been interested in a forum so I will try to not make too many mistakes. My wife is a rural mail carrier so we keep an Explorer around as a backup vehicle for weather and breakdowns. This is the third Explorer we have owned since 96, losing the first two to wrecks (not our fault) the newest a 98 (bought in 08) is the only V8 however. The newest which is really old at thirteen is in great shape and has zero rust or paint defects. We are the second owners of the 98 Limited, the first owner keep it garaged and serviced then with his passing it was left in an estate for a few years but not driven.
Plans are custom, custom, custom. I've enjoyed viewing the pics of AWD change outs and suspension reworks, so it is off to the parts bin for the transfer case first. Wish me luck

Thanks for the welcome everyone, Jon I am located in Connersville, Indiana. As I stated in my introduction this is a first, I will be learning how to post pictures, so the pictures will be coming soon. Thanks again for the encouragement.
