Hey all!
As of a few hours ago, I am the proud owner of a not so shiny 1996 2 door Sport:
1996 Ford Explorer sport, 4.0L V6 Auto. Power windows (that don't work, yet...) and ice cold AC. I had a few "what the hell was I thinking" moments, but, overall I'm pretty pleased with myself. It has it's fair share of issues, but almost nothing that I can't fix myself, and I picked it up for less than I spent on my last computer. As well, everything that is important to make a car a car works. Brakes are fantastic, steering is great, engine pulls like a freight train, trans is perfect, etc...
And now... The Big List of Broken S**t on Sean's Green Turd:
Drivers window does not roll down (just clicks... likely needs a new regulator)
Pass window does not roll down (either a fuse or electrical gremlin)
Turn signal switch is hosed (ordered a new one through Advance Auto, will have it tomorrah)
Passenger seat does not flip forwards.
Headlights are badly yellowed
Needs new front shocks.
Headliner has a bunch of little cuts and tears in it (seriously... how!?)
Wish me luck... something tells me I might need it.
