It's good that the hatch will close to where it needs to go. If the hinges are tight enough, they won't need to be replaced. If either one is a little loose, the hinge joint, then it will wear out the strikers faster than normal.

The hatch is really heavy, if you need to loosen any of those bolts, you will likely need help to handle the hatch while moving or adjusting the parts.

Well I tried that this evening and like you said I ended up needing help putting it back where it needed to be but think the striker bolts need some adjustment still because it's not closing or latching like it should yet,are the hatch kitchen adjustable or is the striker bolt my only option for adjustment?

The hinges themselves should be rigid, but the bolt holes for their bolts may allow for a slight amount of movement. Those you should hope to not need to adjust unless the hatch gets damaged in some way, and you have to. The strikers are intended to be the main adjustment, but forcing the hatch with them is hard on the hinges eventually. So you seem to be working on what it needs, but it's not easy. You basically work with it and figure out which direction the hatch needs to move, and then go at it.

Well that's what I thought but asked you since you have previous experience dealing with this issue, going to work on it more as weather permits, thanks for the answer.
