New member with ghost in dash

I recently joined the forum and I find Lots of good info. After having my 98 3.0 XLT extended cab and automatic trans for 3 months now my dash lights are acting up.

1. Door ajar light comes on intermittently with doors closed and will turn off by itself.
2. ABS light is always on.
3. Right side of speedo lights went dim.
4. Left side of cruise control lights went out same time as #3. Right side cruise lights are fine. Cruise control works fine.
5. Four way flashers don't work.
6. Brake light comes on intermittently.
7. Turnsignals' work fine.
8. Some times the dome light will stay on for a long time.
9. Factory alarm will go off for no reason once about every week or two.

What would be a good starting point to diagnose these problems?
Anyone have similar problems?

Welcome to this forum! The door ajar light has swtiches in the hatch, and in the doors, so one of them might be bad. You need to find out what the codes are for the ABS. Light bulbs eventually burn out, and need to be replaced. The flasher is probably bad. Do you have illuminated entry (when you touch the exterior door handle, the interior light will go on)?
