Follow your top radiator hose to where it goes into the engine. Take that end of the hose off, thats where the thermostat is. Put in the new one, with a new seal, and connect everything back up.

Welcome to this forum! The thermostat housing only has a couple of bolts holding it on. It's not difficult if you have a socket set with extensions.
