thusday july 16 is the day i im picking up my new system. the actual install will most likely take place on the next day though. heres what im gettin:

the anticipation is really gettin to me i have just a little more than a week left. and then ill get to change my sig. again

what size enclosure are you getting? Audiobahn recommends a .88cuft ported enclosure, but i dont think it sounds good like that. you should get something like a 2.7 to 2.85 cubic foot ported enclosure.
i also recommend a capacitor, since the amp has an unregulated power supply. that setup with a capacitor will win competitions. try the Audiobahn ACAP2, it's a 1 farad 24volt capacitor with 30volt surge. it doesnt have a digital voltmeter, but you dont need it anyway.

leenjen-the enclosure im going to get is a 2.85 cu. ft. ported enclosure like this:

its from that www.speakerhole.com site you mentioned a while back. im going to order it if i cant find a similar one locally. back when i had one kenwood 12 i put it in a box similar to that one. it was some old woodgrain home audio box made for by cerwin vega. it had a rear facing port though, people used to laugh when they saw it but when i got a second place trophy (138.7 db)in a local db drag racing event they were surprised. it was powered by a 200 watt jensen amp that i bought for 30 bucks!

that cap looks like a really good deal but i need to check my finances first, make sure i can still afford to eat after i get everything.

ive been told by several of my freinds that this guy will work with me on the prices if i buy them both at the same time.

what other stuff will i need? i think i will need to upgrade my wiring though cuz i currently have 8 guage, any recommedations on size? if yall say like 2 gauge were should i run the wires because i dont watn to make a even bigger holw in my firewall and then have a speed bump runnin through my carpet

oh ya, i ahvent been able to find from any web sites if this amp is fan cooled or not, if anyone here knows let me know

yes the amp is fan cooled. i have the same amp driving my four 15s and it never gets hot.
i would recommend 4 guage wire. you dont really need 2 guage unless you are running several high power amps. a lot of places will give you a deal if you buy a few items from them. one local place had a deal where, if you bought the amp and sub th cap was free.

i forgot to add: if you upgrade to 4 guage power & ground wire. you can use the 8 Guage as the speaker wire.
