how high is the lowest part of the bumpers?

To the bottom of the door where you step in is 32"
Front is 31.5-32
Back is 34
the back sit a little higher because of the aal,that why i think ill just bite the bullet and add f-150 seats and level it out

VA law says 29 in the front and 30 in the back to the bottom edge of the main bumper bar for trucks with a gvwr of 4501-7500#. If the cops hassle you maybe take out a leaf or someday make some tube bumpers or something that let the bumper height hang lower

For all vehicles not registered as trucks they have to be 28 front and 28 rear and no lower than 14". it states 28 front and 28 rear for trucks under 4500. Trucks over 4502-7500 should be 29 front and 30 rear.7501-1500 30 and 31. Even though our trucks gross weight falls in the 29-30 you have to have a truck tag and they will not issue a suv a truck tag.also if the bumper has been lower they go by frame rail but if it has been raised they go by bottom of bumper,ive got a copy of the law in my hand!!im just going to let all the air out before he can measure! !haha its not a moving violation so ill probably just be prepaying alot of these charges!!;(

Wow haha sounds like there's a lot more to it than I thought lol.

How bad are they about ticketing guys for that? Or is it one of those things they pull out if they're pissed off about something else that they think you did?

Well its summer time so ill be riding the bike alot.after i finsh this truck,hopefully by end of this year,im going to start my 347 ranger sleeper build and that will become my dd!!

Paint gun!! Those pics there have a very light coat of a can on it just for color,to see if i liked it before i spent $300 on paint.it will get resprayed with a gun.most of whats on there is going to get sanded off

35x12.50 your be in the same boat,atleast 9" of lift to clear without trimming.,remember my 33x12.50 rubed before the bl.i love those rims but to blingy for a dark colored paint job and dont show off my cross drilled slotted rotors enough and two cost the same as all four of my new rims!! those rims arent cheap!!!...

yea im just gonna drive around raked in the back 6" until i do the front. itll look weird with soa and 4" on 30" tires lol. but im not gonna do tires until i come up with something suspension wise to lift it up on a d44 to fit them

Soa is only 5.5 with new spring,worn sagging springs your be more towards 4.5-5!! You can probably add f-150 to the front with 4" drop brackets and aal and you would never know,it would be level.maybe clear those 33s hahahha with treming

yea i know it wont be full lift cause the old leafs. thats the point, since the lift will prob be 4"
im really gonna sink the money into a d44 on leafs and new 4" lift rear leafs
