new turbo pipes for the Troll

it's the whole "taste great"..."less filling debate".

But I have to say from having a Rear Mount (actually mid mount); there's no hiding it. If anyone knows anything they'll notice the sound coming out the tailpipe.

I have been doing this a long time, there is no hiding from me. I had my sister call out a girl at the track who would no open her hood. She walked up and asked how much boost her s-trim vortech was making. I can tell what some one is running but I am not average by any means. My brother hates all rear or mid mount setups, he drives me crazy for hours of arguing with him about it. So I nver had any choice for his truck but engine bay mounted turbo.

Honestly, I think he's right. There's no beating a turbo mounted closer to the engine. That doesn't mean a turbo mounted far away sucks but if all things are equal, the turbo mounted closer USUALLY wins.

Also, the front mount can have the merge pipe closer to the turbo, which I feel helps.

BLK_Mk8 - This is really for the other guys. I know you know your stuff and have been doing this for along time now.

whhat the heck plz anzwer me this so far what ive heard and im to scared to think about it 400 hp or more blown bock 347 sroker doesnt las much more than 4000 miles 5.0 engine wont handle more then 9 psi WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i know the block its not made as good as old models but how did troll do 11.65 and some one its gona try doing nines on the x and saw the vid it looked like it could do it a million times and it wouldnt mess up

Being poor is no excuse for not being able to write a complete sentence, you should have learned all of that well before you got out of high school. Now to answer your question, I think I will anyway. A stock block will handle 400-500hp before failure on average. There are stronger blocks that you can purchase though.

Agreed - welth and education(basic) have nothing to do with each other. Take some responsibility for yourself.

Stock blocks are known for literally splitting in half, from the mains through the cam bearing, up through the valley. You can either get a better block or you can get main girdle and valley supports / strainers. All just a bandaid. Best to save up and get an SVO or Dart block if looking for big power / torque. Otherwise, move up to a 351W. Stock, they can handle more power than the 302 versions.

i will post some pictures, my brother son Logan takes up most of his time now. funny his wife said he could put a baby seat in the back of it although i am not sure it will bolt in with the race seats it has.

there are pictures on the first page of it with the turbo on.....i totaly for got what pictures i put on there.
