new young explorer owner needing help

i'm 17 years old and drive a 91 explorer eddie bauer edition. i fell in love with the car but want to make it my own and unique i'm asking for any helpful tips on converting my explorer into an ideal wheeler or crawler. thank you for any advice you might have.
