Next Pine Barrens Run?

Who is taking the point on this and doing all the organizing in terms of names, phone numbers, maps, etc.? Does it fall to me again?

Since I started the thread I guess I can take charge, not really sure where to start with the maps. But If everyone PM's me their number, that way your number isn't posted all over the net I can get a list together of who's in and who's not to get a head count.

OK, cool. It'll be much easier for you. Last time I had a packet of about 20 pages with mapquest directions, satellite images, etc., on how to get from one spot to the next because they were off the beaten path. I think all you'd need would be an official final list of people coming, phone numbers for each, directions to the ranger station, info on the station (phone number, etc) and maybe directions from the station back to the Wawa. We can pick up trail maps when we're there.

the WAWA on Rt 70/Rt539 that you guys met at last time is a pretty good hike away from the ranger station for wharton state forrest... especially for the members from the Philly area, they'll be doing an extra 1-1.5 hours of driving to come to the wawa that's un-neccessary. There is a wawa down the street from the ranger station that i would suggest meeting at (unless thats where you guys are already talking about).

if no one can find it i'll ask pete (gearhead) or ill try finding its address for you guys tonight after work

I ran Mapquest from the ranger station to the original Wawa and it's a good 45 mins away.

This is the closest Wawa about 10 mins away - up the highway and around the corner.

i think mreeting at a wawa up the rd from the ranger station is abetter idea.. this way there is a latger parking lot to meet up in rather than crowd the ranger staion all up.. and this way if anyone needs to do changes last minute.. ** aaron taking off sway bars) it can be done close to the trails and on pavement, with ample room... just let me know where im going..

Now that it's been mentioned I'll be there. Like Aleej said - last minute changes to rigs and Jay said - food & pitstop. It's a good idea.

Roll-out by 9:15 to meet-up with the rest of the group by the ranger station? Maybe just pull over on the side of the road and be show-offs?

I wear many hats. Weather man is one of them. I also specialize in sat imaging, 3D modeling, being a Netzhauptmann, and being sarcastic amongst other things.
