Truck started slipping into neutral when coming to a stop and stayed in neutral. Messed with the gear selector and gave it a little gas to get going. Would also slip through gears at highway speeds.
I did some research and decided to drop the pan change the filter and separator plate gaskets. Removed valve body very carefully replaced both gaskets and torqued everything to spec and in the proper sequence. Filled the transmission with 4 quarts to start. Started the engine and filled to proper level. Then I jumped into the truck to move it through the gears and I noticed it was difficult to get out of park. After applying a little bit of pressure it was able to shift through the gears but I had no forward movement in any gears and no reverse.
Not sure where to go from here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated ! I need to get back and forth to work
