Hi all,
I have a problem that doesn't fit in the 911 category but I need some help fast. I got up this morning to head into work and I suddenly have no parking/running lights or interior lights. I checked all the fuses inside the truck and they were fine. I checked all the fused under the hood and the one for the trailer package is blown. I popped a new fuse in and it was fine until I turned the lights on and then it blew again.
If I pull the headlight switch out the whole way I get headlights but no parking or interior. If I pull it out half way I get parking and interior but they go off when I pull it out the whole way to get head lights. The only way I was able to have headlights, parking lights, and interior lights was to hold the swith right on the edge of where it would go from parking to headlights.
Does this sound like a headlight switch problem or a trailer wiring problem that is causing the headlight issue?
