Okay I’m no mechanic so I’ll try to describe the issue the best I can. Please bare with me.

It’s a 94 sport
A little back ground:
The Ex has been sitting for about a year now. I would go out and start it every once in a while just to run some gas threw it and so the battery could charge up. It would always just fire right up, it ran and sounded great. Down the road I noticed after running it for a while sometimes it wouldn’t start back up, the motor would try but no luck. I’d let it sit for an hour or so and it would fire right back up. Go figure, so no big deal as I wasn’t driving it anywhere. I changed the plugs, plug wires and did all the usual stuff you do with an oil change and the Ex was still having the same issue after.

Now it’s another three months or so down the road and she won’t start at all. It just cranks and cranks. I tried spraying starter fluid in the motor but it still wouldn’t start. This brings me to my questions.

Does this sound like a spark problem or fuel problem?

Should I hear the fuel pump when starting? I don’t… But not sure If I ever did.

I’ll check for pressure in the fuel rail when I get home. I do have a fuel filter I can change out and will once I have some time. Thanks in advance!

Could be any number of things. Pull a plug and see if it sparks when you turn it over
