I have a 2008 awd v6 Eddie b. Explorer. 111000 miles on it.

Noise: thumping same noise level when you 10mph or 80mph. The faster I go the quicker the thumping sound gets. Happens in neutral, without foot on gas. Feels like it's coming from under my floor pan. Used to happen only when turning right. Now since I replaced my tire rods it's happening all the time.

Before the noise started... I got 4 new tires.

2 weeks later I started to hear a light thumping noise only when I turned right. Even slight right. My breaks were also grinding. I replaced my breaks and roters. My passenger side break pads were to the metal. Drivers side not to the metal but close.

Once those were replaced the thumping still came when turning slightly right.

I noticed after that my sway bar link on the drivers side was missing. I replaced both bushings and end links.

That didn't help anything.

I then saw that my tire rods were very loose and had no resistance to them. So I replaced both sides inner and outter.

Now the noise happens all the time. Right, left, straight. Thump thump thump.

I'm not to sure how the drive train is supposed to respond. I jacked my front up and turned the drive shafts by hand. I hear a noise when moving it left and right. And there is a little play before my passenger tire starts to move while first moving the shaft. Is this normal? The drives side tire doesn't move at all.

Another note: when I spin my driver side tire my passenger side tire rotates opposite. When I spin my passenger tire my drivers side doesn't move....

I'm thinking it has something to do with my front diff. Can someone verify or help me out in deciding what to do next?
