2014 Ford explorer xlt
When i bought my 2014 ford explorer everything was great, i did a complete led conversion and nothing gave me an issue except for my puddle lights, i noticed they were all broken and only the driver side lit up but the cover was gone exposing the bulb, passenger side didnt light up but also exposed the “bulb” that was missing, no problem so i ordered led puddle lights, went to put them in, and neither side lit up no matter how much i flipped them, so i thought maybe the connectors were corroded, so i cut them off and crimped new connectors on, still didnt fix my problem, (yes i tested the puddle lights before cutting off the original connectors and they worked fine), so i took the cover off that exposed mirror wiring and bolts, unplugged and plugged in the connector, still nothing, so i checked all the interior/welcome light fuses and all were working fine, all my interior lights work as they should, now i am lost and dont know what to do to get my puddle lights to work

remove the connector from the side mirror from the inside. You will need to remove the door card, or the plastic cover on the inside of the door by the mirror. There is a connector there that goes to the mirror. Check power and ground at that connector. If not good, Problem is further back into the car. Could be the wires going from the door to the car. If good there, issue it up the line, in the mirror.
