shotty atempt at a flatbed. one dint,
a pissed off gf got pissed off at the hood.
one bad ball joint.

i just got the check engine light off, after the ball joint ill be ready to put some tlc into the looks and performability of it. i do wanna stay away from lifts on this project. but i do want bigger tires. what do you think will fit on it. i i deffinatly want some all terrains. and i need ideas for the looks. any help would be appriciated.

Switch to some 15" wheels for starters. That will open the door up to ALOT more tire choices, including 31s with no lift. After that, well, what kind of look/ statement/usage are you looking to get from the truck? My 84 Ranger has an aluminum flat that started out as the floor of an old box trailer. Threw the box part away, went to the local NAPA and got some brackets and LED lights for the "new" flatbed, including some small side markers for up by the cab, tossed a couple of BIG ( 20 MM ) Ammo cans under the edge up by the cab, for under bed boxes, single stacked the 4.0-still-in-progress-swap and installed some mudflaps. Bang... instant "baby" F350. The farmers around here think that I did a good job, especially the ones that watched me build it up from a bunch of junk. :)
