Ok, So I stole this from a thread on Priate I came across.

http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=635748

This is the guys Original Post.

I have a 95 jeep Cherokee sitting on 44s with ruffly 18-20in of lift and I keep having the issue of breaking drive shafts. I know that the angles are not the best but I think my problem is to tall and not a long enough wheel base so I have this idea of running a divorced transfer case in her but the problem of where and how to mount it and to run a 2wd tranny and one transfer case or run double transfer cases If any one has any ideas on this situation let me know someone had to have had this problem before. It also has a 4.7 stroker, rebuilt tranny, transfer case and dana 44s 6 lug with detroit lockers front/rear manual warn hubs and the upgraded axle shafts. I am breaking are tom woods custom drive shafts and 4.10 gears i think that is it for the drive train

Here's his Photo bucket

I put it in the "whoops" section because I think it's one just waiting to happen. Take a Look. It's full of fun.

As with any vehicle a whoops is right around the corner.. Unfortunately the corner is very close for this vehicle. He is already exploding parts left and right., just a matter of time before he rolls it or worse..

Wow i am not shocked that that is rolling around somewhere

i personally like the "coil-over" rear shocks.... the blocks are a nice touch too.

Yeah, he might be about to roll it, but gosh darnit, he's going to see the ground coming up fast when he does, day or night!

I know that the angles are not the best

Ya think?

Also, writing style points awarded for: ruffly = roughly :D

HOLY Axle-wrap Batman!!! I would love to see video of that thing crawling up a hill... that rear axle probably moves 6"!!!

Un-real... gotta love welded lift blocks too...

I wish these people had to pass inspections.... morons.

I'm surprised hes not killing more axle shafts...I like the 18inch drop hitch...i wonder how pulling trailers around works out for him...his drive line cant even handle it self let alone another load...

The first pic is of his Exploded U-joint right on the T-case. The 2nd is the 18" drop hitch with the optional Truck Nuts enhancement. :D

What an idiot. Im gonna have to make fun of my jeep buddy now.

oh man. read the pirate thread.....

Those axles are so small....

exploderpilot, i listened to you and read the whole thread. And i must say it was the funniest thing I've ever seen to read about all of those guys making fun of him. I'm only 16 and I can definately say the dude is not to bright.

Anyone else who see's this, take the time to read that thread. It's great.

I read the whole thing at lunch... too funny. I love the Pirate forums... they pull no punches, and they're happy to call a moron a moron.

I love the drop hitch pics too... I wouldn't use it as a step, let alone tow a trailer with it. I've seen better welds come out of a superglue factory!

Did you drink that entire keg before you converted your jeep into a Dr. Kavorkian death machine.

D35 = 35" tires
D44 = 44" tires
D60 = 60" tires
What I learned on Jeeps Unlimited today

Wow that thread is awesome, at least this kid listened to others unlike the DEI guy and that other moron..

i wish i had like a couple weeks to read that whole thread. i love pirate cause they go off on people so hard. but i also like this site cause everyone seems so much nicer on her than every where else. but everyone is also smarter on here and not a** holes.

but about the first post, the MONSTER xj. yeah the truck is really really sketchy and i would never want to drive it. but wouldn't alot of his problem be that he has a 4.7 STROKER!!!!!!!!? with double lift blocks? and drag racing it? it seems like he's actually doing everything he can to break drive shafts. no prob with big, powerful monster trucks, but the way he has it set up is just looking for trouble.:rolleyes:
