Just was mailed a copy of Consumer Reports Nov. '99 issue and they have a rating on SUV tires. Their top picks are #1 BFG Radial Long Trail T/A, #2 Yoko. Geolandar H/T and #3 is Michelin LTX M/S. Allare in the P225/75R15 size.
I have OEM Firestones on my '97 XLT and am about to get new tires.
What do you all have to say about the CU ratings? Does anyone have the BFG's? Are the Michelin LTX A/T's better than the above list?
I live in Southeast Michigan and do some off roading during hunting season.
