OBD codes

I'm sure this is an ancient topic,,,,but I've searched and cant find anything.

Just bought a '91 Explorer. Is it OBD compliant????
Or am I going to have to learn to manually get the codes??

it's OBD I so you can you a code reader/scanner with the old adaptor or do it manually.

You can use a code reader, but why bother? It's easy as pie with a paper clip or a small bit of wire. How to do it is linked in my signature. Welcome!
