OBD is not connecting to scanner 2016 Ford Explorer XLT

My OBD is not connecting or does not have power. When scanning for codes. I cant find the fuse that it is connected to the OBD.

Sorry, not much help. Looking at the fuse layout, there doesn't seem to be one that is identified as being for the OBD. I'm guessing you tried it with the engine ON and OFF.

There are several members that use the OBD for trouble codes and FORScan so hopefully someone will see the thread and be able to help. Good luck. Sometimes it may take a while.

Pin 16 is power. Test for it and see if you have it. When I had my 16 Sport I had issues getting my VCM2 to connect to it and tuner equipment as well. Ended up the gateway module (that is what you are plugging into) had bad solder joints. I had to reflow the pins in it. Never had a problem after that.

If pin 16 has power is the module good?
 






Then you know you have power and its some other issue
