hey, i double check the fuse #17 and replaced for a new one and the obd2 connector start working, thanks for that, but is no check engine light working, can be a blown bulb inside the cluster?

Do you have any trouble codes? See page 8 in the owners manual for CEL location. (Below temp gauge)
The Check Engine indicator light illuminates when the ignition is first turned to the ON position to check the bulb. If it comes on after the engine is started, one of the engine’s emission control systems may be malfunctioning. The light may illuminate without a driveability concern being noted. The vehicle will usually be drivable and will not require towing.

no trouble codes but is no check engine light when i put the ignition in the on position.

MY check engine light came on so went to parts store for free check. The tool would not work so we tested the cigarette lighter, which worked a few weeks ago. Dead, so blown fuse apparently needs replacement, Fuse 17 yeah.

no knock on A___Z--- but the guy there tried to helpful, and tapped the panel around the cigarette lighter, like there may be something loose. The next thing I know, cigarette lighter was sucked inside, just fell in the hole it sits in, and rattles around behind...

...so now gotta remove the panel and get this thing out THEN fix the fuse THEN see what the checklight is all about. SIGH.

Who would ever think the cigarette lighter if pushed too hard (or whatever this sales guy did) would go inside and slip in. Anyone ever see this? Crazy!

YEAH OK, So there is a Cigarette Lighter Pushed into Dash thread, sorry. (Not that it made me feel warm and fuzzy to read it!) In fact, there are hundreds of cigarette lighter fuse and use issues posted, my head is spinning!

So, the other day when my passenger tried the lighter, it lit then literally popped out and hit the console in the air. I cant see it now (its inside the bezel panel thing and I am NOT HANDY, will get help for this) but I suspect the rubber or plastic circle thing cracked or broke off, and that's a major reason why it can be pushed through, duhh!

Guess will find out when retrieve it. Unfortunately no good replacement lighters anywhere people doing epoxy mock ups and crazy stuff, Oy Vay!
