Everybody has a story.... and so do I. On my 2002 Explorer the remotes open the doors about half the time on the first try. I push the button several times and maybe it will open maybe not. New batteries, replaced the remotes, reprogrammed them - I've read all the threads here I could find and am stumped.
What is unusual is that if I go to the keyless entry and push just one button the remote then works every time on the first push of the remote FOB button. It is like I wake it up and then it pays attention.
Anyone got an idea for fixing this annoying behavior?
