How much boost? Your turbo is a little larger than mine (I have a MP T70).

Welcome Red, and well done on the turbo install. Where did you place the air filter, and what piping did you run going down and back up? Regards,

i came off the headers in 2 1/2 and y ed it into 3 all the way back the air filter is in the lil space where the spare tire used to be its 2 1/2 to the inercoolere and 3 inch out the piping is all stainless ran it down the channel in the frame just til the torsion arms then went outside the frame and over the control arm back into the engine compartment will post videos of track and dyno when i have the oppurtunity gonna take it in for a retune for some minor driveability issues and get a race gas tune see how much more i can get out of it as of right now it is on 18lbs give or take

Thats should get you a very low 12 in the 1/4 mile. Nicely done!

Any pictures of the setup?

Looks like I'm going to have to get a bigger turbo for mine now.

What block are you running?

What block are you running?

Yeah I would like to know that too. I think it's around 450-500hp max before you start splitting blocks? Are you full weight or is this a stripped down vehicle? Guess I will have to see pics.

ok its a stock block all stock internals they usaully live pretty well at this power level if you arent beating them all the time i have a 90 model mustang putting 620 to the rear tire on a stock block and dss bottom it has been on the same setup for a while its a blower car i set out on this build to spend theleast amount possible and get the most power possibl and i can safely say i think i accomplished my task it is a full weight truck no stripping done i drivre it daily and enjoy it as much as possible one reason it lives so well under that much stress is that unlike nitrous boost is a gradual progression where as nitrous hits hard one minute you are making 300 horse and the next second your making 500 boost on the other hand gradually builds it gentle not rough as longas you have a good tune and no detonation you should be fine making power on a stock block yes there are aftermarket blocks out there but they are very expensive right now im puttinga new motor together for this thing it is girdled top and bottom and now has screw in freeze plugs so on the new set up i plan to make a lot more power since i will be able to push the envelope further without having to worry about splitting the block if yall have any more questions feel free to ask i enjoy he oppurtunity to help others and i actually have a good deal of expierence in this field seeing as how i have been doing it for so long i specialize in ford performance and have found that i have a knack for making **** go fast although this is my first turbo build everything else i have ever done has been either nitrous or blowers i have seen stock blocks make plenrty of power with the right stuff done to them to help their inherent tendency to split at around 500 oh yeahi will post pics as soon as i can any other questions just ask have a good one guys

That sounds good. Start a new thread on your truck and fill it up with pictures, we all like that.

Well, there goes my chance at the number one spot... ;)

Good job Red. I'll get you up on the podium. Is that 525whp or hp?

Run a new PB today:D Same mods as before but with weigh reduction.(seats, swaybar, driveshaft and spare.) Still in second but hoping to catch that number 1 spot someday;)

Congrats that's a really quick time, I'm sure the cold weather helped a lot though.

Well it was mid-70's:( I was hoping more like mid-40's like it was on friday. I may go again next weekend if the temps get colder. They are now running on Sat/Sun depending on conditions.

Not bad. Keep at it.

New PB posted.
