I have a proposal to make. Now some of us run together and can back up each other's claims, but some of us pop on here and post up numbers. So I suggest that before we are to change the board up, make sure that we have a posted slip of the run or a vid showing the results. I know I haven't really posted my claims up yet, but I will if we decide to do this.(I will anyway)

Not calling anyone out or starting a war, just a thought because I can come on here and say I am running 13's with this and that when it's not even true. At the same time it will be a few months before anyone posts because of winter. But there is a certain someone that just got his ride back together and I(we) will be looking forward to the results soon:D

I agree.

If you don't post a copy of your time slip; or don't have a video; or don't have any proof what-so-ever, then please don't post in this thread.

Everytime I see a new post in this thead I'm hoping someone has broke a record.

Well, I had 2 forum members for witnesses.

Beyond just a time slip, pics of your truck at the track with track car number painted in window will cinch it, as car number is on the time slip.
 






As promised;) Me VS Techieman33 and was a bad day for him. He just kept running slower and I ran a new PB(mph) but tied my ET from a month prior(the time I just beat). The current best was against a 4-door, 4x4, single rear wheel Chevy Duramax that I ran twice and the first time we ran, he went 13.5 but then only mananged 14 flat about every run after that. Kinda cool to see the front wheels spin when he took off;)

Yeah, well some of us know one another and can trust. Turtle - If you told me you ran a 9.90 at 55 MPH, I'd believe you. ;)

This was with 17-18 psi of boost.

I know I can shave some more time off that. I was having problems building boost on the launch. That was run in full street trim just as I drove it there.

A few more pounds of boost and some more timing will come in the spring time.
 












Mounty03- Glad to hear things worked out for you;) How's the new transmission holding up and what was done? Do you have any vids? Looking forward to spring results!!!

You're around 1 second faster than me in the 1/4. I'm guessing that's about 20 car lengths or more. Looks like I have a bunch of work if I want to compete with this.
 






And I am about 3 seconds behind so that's about 40 car lengths and have even more work to do:( Work has slowed down and if I don't sell the Ranger soon, the Ex in next on the chopping block:(

Mounty03- Did you happen to take a vid of you running at the strip? Also, are you looking to adopt a 26 year old:D
 






We would also be in the cross winds of the exhaust coming out the back of that mounty. I'm sure they'll be resistance there or some kind making it harder to keep up.


Mounty - what did you do different to get a half second knocked off the time? (was it just upping the boost or did you find other gains in the tune?....etc)

A vid would be great.
 






I do know that he had his tranny rebuilt recently because he destroyed the stocker. As far as what was done to it I don't know. I wonder what will be next to go:burnout:
 






I had a feeling the trans was slipping bad before. The new one shifts now when it's supposed to. The extra boost was part of it too. I did manage a 12.59 with 15 psi though.

I will try to get everything dialed in with the tune over the winter.

I also have to get a catch can for the trans. It puked fluid after one of the 1/4 mile passes. Seems the mustangs with this trans have the same problem.
