Oil Leak

My 05 Aviator seems to be leaking from around the oil filter. This has been going on for several months. I have tried serveral different brands of fitlers and the leak never goes away. In other posts I have seen a gasket that is behind the oil filter mount, but I have not seen any mention of this problem on a 05. Could this be the problem, where can I find a replacement, and how hard is it to replace?

This may be a dumb question, but did you make sure the gasket from the old oil filter came off before installing the new filter?

Mine leaked oil right above from the gasket of the the oil filter housing has the coolant bybass connecting.

Had it replaced and oil leak is gone! If filter is not the problem might check it out. UV dye could help
