OMG!! Viper V-10 motorcycle!!

DaimlerChrysler has a concept called the Tomohawk. It's a motorcycle that uses the Viper V-10 as the engine. It goes 0-60 in 2 seconds and has a top speed of 300 mph supposedly. No one has had the balls to take it that fast yet. It uses 2 tires per wheel (kinda like a dually). I almost wet myself when I saw it. Crazy.

Yeah someone posted this earlier. Looks like it would be hard to turn. Since it has four wheels is it really considered a motorcycle?

considering the crate engine costs like $13.5K im guessing at about $35-40K

it's a motorcycle, it has two wheels, but four tires. I'd drive it I dont think it'd cost $250k. If the crate engine is under $14k, you could have it custom built around the engine for a lot cheaper than that.

you'd deffinetely wet yourself going 0-60 in two seconds and topping out at 300 on a bike!
given the proper conditions and test track (very long straightaway) I bet we could gather enough people with either the balls or stupidity to take it to 300. to get to ride that thing I'd give it a shot (not saying I would make it all the way there before I wussed out)

yeah 2.5 seconds will make you go unconscious (sp?) i dont think anyones ass can hang on at 300+ uncovered!

i have riden a fellow co-workers Boss Hog or whatever their called. its a 300hp 350 chevy bike. that thing was quite frightening. i couldnt even imagine a 500hp V10...

When they introduced it at the show, the guy who rode it in was driving VERY carefully, like it was made of crystal. He looked kinda nervous too. I guess a fraction too much throttle and he would have shot right off the stage!

Top Fuel dragsters hit 100MPH in the first 100 feet of the dragstrip, I think that's like .8 seconds or so. Anyway they also run the quarter in 4.5 seconds at 320+ MPH that thing is fast to be sure but not unconscious fast.

They're called Boss Hoss's. I've been down in Memphis where they make them. IMPRESSIVE!!

BOSS HOSS! yea, thats what i was trying to think of... this was about 3-4 yrs. ago, and he only had it a few months. he was a chicken-****, sold it and got a more "practical" bike, a Honda Valkarie.

i raced a viper with some punk kid driving his girlfriend in it and smoked it with my cbr 600 f2. maybe this bike would be a different story?
