opinions for wheels?

I'm loving those Mavericks.

Sooooo many nice wheels to choose from. It's difficult to look at a picture and decide as they sometimes look way different on your ride. Having a black ST, I like the black machined or chrome/polished. Black is easier to keep looking good too when they have brake dust/dirt on them.

my problem is that i dont want too flashy of a wheel to make it look like the wheels cost more than the whole explorer ... i dont want the wheels to be the only flashy thing on the x

XD says the patterns do not fit for Explorer but aren't the bolt patterns the same as Jeep? If that's the case then 5x4.5 should work and in the picture post there is a guy with rock star rims.

These are Summit Racing's own wheels. I see that you have 17's and checked the site, they have 17X8.5 for 114$ a piece.

New and also looking for rims to fit my 98 XLT. I have 4 GG AT2's sitting and waiting for rims to fit them. I was thinking either......

Oh, and how exactly does offset work? is it negative is toward the truck, or away from?

I am retarded when it comes to wheels. I can do tires though. Any thoughts?
I was looking to bring the tires more out from the truck since I have custome flares on it.... How would I go about doing this?
