Looks to be a small step up from Kickers SoloX sub. Kickers only got 18inches, 5000wrms and 10,000w peak.

But unless you're selling albums, you'll never even come close to owning either...

Marketing tool. remember the 'Bahn AWT34X ?

get me a metal trash can, leather, some rubber bands, duct tape and a big F'n magnet. I can almost reproduce one.

been researching these monster subs. Turns out alot of audio companies make a few extreme subs just for promo. Most of these actually turn out to sound like ass as all they do is make giant parts with no engineering involved.

i actually think this one is more than a promo

they aren't THAT much money.

You've been watching too much Red Green show... :p

expo whats the price on the sub? And would'nt you think something that can hold over 5000 watts rms should cost alot of dough?

Ive seen the Audiobahn AWT 34" Woofer at shows go for $3 grand. 5k rms/10k peak. I've got no clue how many dBs or SPL it would produce but **** that think would pound with enough power to it.

I think the kicker was some $6000. Maybe more. I can't imagine The MTX being any cheaper than either...

i don't believe they've listed any kind of a price at this point.

i'd expect to be able to get one for like 5 g's

the kicker is no where near 6,000 (maybe suggested retail was supposed to be this much at one point though) or really in this same category. the soloX 18 is a very real sub that is actually fairly common. the audiobahn one definitely is non-functional.

like i said above, i think this jackhammer is actually something that might have some performance to it.

they will definitely be expensive as heck for most people.

the specs for the AWt 34" is like 88 dBs
bout $3000-4000
and like $5000 for the 5000wx1 RMS amp made for it

X2 on solo x's - I kicked a$$ against a guy runnin a single solo x 18" and 4kw last weekend, they are getting to be more popular. I seen 12" versions for sale around 1k a piece I believe. No thanks.

The audiobahn however is actually functional. I'm sure they made some show only models but there was a crx with one in the rear at shows like 2 or 3 years ago. Actually worked. I'm sure there was at least one other vehicle with a working one. (note I didn't say how well it worked - the 34" sub has the same motor as the 18" AWT18X! )

If you look hard enough you can find the "microwaves" for cheaper than that.
Michael Hughes uses a whole bunch of them in his extreme/super street vehicle (cant remeber which class?)

the guy that does all my car audio said he could get me a jackhammer for $1000
