Opinions on Boss Amplifiers

Anyone used or had a friend who had a boss amp? i havent heard anything about these amps and they are really cheap, any opinions?

Well I own one. They are very cheap and that's why I bought it. They are WAY overrated. I don't know exact numbers, but I have the rip-995. Specs say that I should be getting 1000x2 RMS at 4 ohms. I'd feel lucky if I was actually getting 300x2 RMS. I've had it for 4 months or so, and have had no problems. I knew before I bought it that it was overrated, but needed something cheap. As long as you expect it before you get it and are alright with that, I say go for it. For me it is just a temporary setup until I can get enough money to give my subs the power they require.

I do not care for them. Had 2 bad expieriences when i was younger. Cheap POS's.

had one it was junk, jensen is better and comes with a built in crossover and are also cheap. Really with car audio you get what you pay for. Gimp I was in Ft Stewart also 1-64 armor sure do miss those girls accents over at the strip club in Heinsville ahh the memories
