Ordering Zaino wax

I e mailed Zaino Brothers to order some of their wax and was told by return e mail that they did not accept credit cards nor did they ship cod anymore. You must send a check in advance. What kind of business practice is this. They may have the best wax but don't have good shipping practices.

Call Sal Zaino and he can give you the name and number of a local distributor. They will take credit cards and will usually have the items shipped to you the next day.

While we're on the topic of Zaino, I just put it on my truck this past week, and it looks great. But now that I have 1 coat of Z5 and two coats of Z2 on the paint, do I have to use the Z1 again?

Nope you dont need z1 anymore till next year. Just use z6-z2-z6-z2...Enjoy!

Yup. Once every year or with every tenth coat. I just put my 16th coat on today. Looks awesome!

You said have 1 coat of z-5 and 2 coats of z-2. Are you planning on putting more coats of z-5 on or did one application do the trick for you?

It was the 3rd application for mine that really made the difference. The 4th (which emptied my bottle) made my paint virtually scratch free! (small scratches anyway)

One application of Z5 was good enough, but my Sport Trac is new, so it has not accumulated many scratches yet. Next time I wash the truck, I'll probably do another application of Z5.

This must be a new policy; in the recent past I haver ordered all of my supplies directly from Zaino via COD since he doesn't take credit cards.

Last week I was informed of this "new" policy by a friend in Pittsbergh that tried to COD order from Zaino.

This suprises me. Such a wonderful product and now they make it even more difficult to obrain. If they want orders placed through didtrivutors, maybe this should be indicated on their web site as well as listing the names, address, and teleohone number of these distrubitors.

The end result is worth the hassle in obtaining.....
