Oznium is recalling 409 HID headlight kits sold for use as aftermarket parts for motor vehicles. These kits fail to conform to the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment." These kits produce excessive glare to oncoming traffic increasing the risk of a vehicle crash. Oznium will notify owners and offer a refund for the noncompliant kits. The recall is expected to begin during April 2008. Owners may contact Oznium toll-free at 800-245-8131. This recall was the subject of an investigation, OA-108-070724C, conducted by the Office of Vehicle Safety Compliance.

OK...Sounds like they kept selling HID conversions after the conv.s were prohibited.
Now they have to comply and offer to get those offensive HIDs out of peoples veh.s.

Haha until that cop embarrasses you in front of your girl friend with a ticket for illegal lighting.
Or in my case my wife, who would say " see you just can't leave it alone can you?"
And I would feel like a clownshoe because the brightest thing on my truck is illegal.
I heard about them stopping selling them a while ago. I haven't heard word one from them in a letter form, I just saw a thread on ********* stating that they no longer sell the HID kits which is pretty disappointing because that's Oznium's most prominent product.
I got mine for Christmas in '06. They aren't going anywhere.
