Can this code being on damage anything in the engine or is it just emissions?

Car seems to be running fine I did think it was using gas up more than normal tho.

If possible, try swapping the 2 rear o2 sensors with each other. If the code moves to the other side the sensor is bad. If it remains the same code, you need a new cat. either way this needs to be fixed.

From what I understand they are working correctly? It may have been a one off thing. I cleared the code then hopped on the freeway and drove it pretty agressive to possibly blow out the cats and the code never showed back up. Hope it stays that way.

Light came back on today. Do you think this leak possibly crapped out this o2 sensor? Is this even the bank 2 sensor? I sprayed it with pb blaster in anticipation of changing it and that cleaned alot of crus off..

It's covered in oil from what I assume is the rear main. I don't think there is an exhaust leak.

Worst case scenario I have to change the catalytic converter?

At 270k it's probably about that time?
