ATF Motor Craft Mercon V Was changed-All was drained.
Transmission filter was changed
Block solenoid was changed for a new one from Ford.

All of that was done and the code and shifting late from 1st to 2nd continue and the od flashig continue.

Any sugestions???
Thanks guys.

Pd The problem start since i take it to the shop for change the front seal of the transmission. The transmission for that work was removed.

P0775 is not listed in my book. Do you know what that code says?

By "block solenoid", you mean the solenoid module was replaced by a new one?

By "shifting late", do you mean the transmission allows the engine speed to go up higher than it should, before the shift from 1st to 2nd happens? We need to know if the engine "speeds up" when the shift happens, like a slipping clutch would allow. Your tachometer will tell you. As the shift begins to happen, the tach should just hold steady for a few seconds, then drop down. The "O/D OFF" light is telling you something is wrong. We need to find that. imp

It's a servo bore issue. Either repair the servo bores (rebuild time) or get the aftermarket servos with O rings. The servos with O rings are installed while the transmission is still in the vehicle.

P0775 -Its a transmission code > Pressure Control Solenoid 'B' Malfunction
Yes the solenoid module was replaced.
Yes the rpm goes up to 4,000 before change to 2nd gear.

Brooklynbay its hard to changed the servo? Where can i get the instruction for change the servo? i ask to me why the code P0775 say nothing about the servo, and i read in another sites thats the servos can be the problem.

Thanks Imp and Brooklynbay for your answer.

Thanks, i have a question, i have to change the servo pistons and o rings and reuse the others components like the servo cover and retainer.? I will buy the servo piston from ford, this ones comes with the o rings? If not how many o rings i have to
buy for the 2 servos? All i have to do is just take out the old servo piston and push in the new one?
Thanks a lot

The OEM Ford servos don't have O rings. You will have to buy special aftermarket servos with O rings. The thread on servo replacement has all of this information with a link to the company that makes them.

Brooklyn, I just planning to buy the servo piston and the rings from Ford, part numbers:
OD Servo 4w4z-7d021-ka
Inter Servo 1l2z-7d021-ca
Rings OD 3l2z-7h074-aa
Rings Inter 3l2z-7h074-ba

This servos from ford are just the servo piston but you are talking about the servo bore it is the same thing or the servo piston its not the same as servo bore. Im confused. Because this is a transmission issue I will like to buy original parts from Ford.

Sorry but I was reading a lot of topics here in the forum but I cant understand if are the same or not. The picture is one of this servo piston.
Thanks

The bore is the area where the servo travels. The Ford servos don't have O rings to compensate for the irregular gap in the bore which the servo wore down. The new Ford servo is only good if you're going to resleeve the bore.

I search on ebay, but they only have the servo bore repair kit, but is very diferent to the servos from the link fordservobore... The kit come with alot o diferent parts. The kit even not comes with the piston, but is a servo bore kit. Witch one i realy need?

Thanks and im sorry for all my questions i just want to fix my explorer by my self without taking to a trany shop.
