Looks Good , Always Like the Plastic Painted Dark !

Great job man. You gonna paint the step bars too?

yea there a little rusted on the side what should i use to sand all that off with

I found some step bars on ebay for 130 shipped

Just keep the factory bars, they're alot better quality then the cheapy's on ebay. Just use some sandpaper on them and either use some bedliner on them or just paint them with the same paint as the bumpers and touch up needed.

ok thanks for the info ill probally use the bedliner on the step bars since they will be used alot. I had ordered some clear turn signals off ebay like a month ago and put them on then today went to change the bulb and the plastic front peice came apart from the chrome back housing kinda p---ed me off lol

Yeah, that's ebay poop for ya. LOL

Gotta know what to look for on eBay to get the stuff thats not a joke. There's some solid stuff on there but what people do is buy the cheapest and think its the same as something else because its got the same picture...

Never use dupli color bed liner i sprayed it yesterday morning waited 5 hrs to make sure it was nice and dry went to the store and when i got back it was already pealing

Alot of it has to do with prep work and how humid is probably was yesterday...

Sorry to hear about the bed liner problem , make sure you email them , they possibly might send you a new Revised version of there product if you complain , I Did with my Fusion paint for plastics as i went by there directions for prepping and it was not good enough , so they sent me 2 new cans , Worth a Shot !

We must have got the same ones from ebay cause mine did the same thing. Sometimes water gets in it now and is a pain to get out.

Really good job with the paint! Looks very professional.

i emailed the company on ebay and they are sending me out a new lens but i already redid them took the old caulk stuff out and replaced it with new and heated them up and c-clamped them and let them set over nite

What paint did you use? And how is it holding up ? Do you have any pics with the sides done?

I want to try and do this on my black 03. Glossy on top with flat back on on the bottom

I used dupli-color bumper paint from oreileys its holding up real good

Uhm... Has anyone on this list ever used/tried a spray-on undercoating, like a 3M product, for the bumpers and lower cladding? I wonder if it might be more durable and chip-resistant than the bed-liner stuff. At least maybe it would adhere to the plastic better?
Anyone?
Cheers!
